The aim of MailSafe Compliance is to give comfort and security in the knowledge that any or all emails can be quickly found and retrieved in their original format. It captures emails the instant they have been sent or the moment they have been received and can be used as evidence in an enquiry or action.
Emails are automatically archived to a SQL database (SQL Server 2000 and above) and MailSafe is compatible with Exchange Server (Exchange 2000 and above).
Emails can be easily searched for and found within seconds. Users are able to search and find only their own e-mails from the compliance database i.e. their e-mail address is in one of the From, To, CC, or BCC fields. Searches from within Outlook can be made based on a number of comprehensive search tools such as:
1. Header Information - From, To, CC, Date Range, Subject Line, Message Body
2. Message Body text
3. Advanced Searches - includes BCC, Attachment Types, Phrase Searching etc
4. Six user-defined Index Fields if applied
