Organisational Email Management Software for Exchange/Outlook

What is Mail-safe?

Mail-safe is Email Archiving and Compliance software that will automatically capture all emails sent/received, or sent internally, and archive them outside of Exchange on your network.  The Email Archive has two elements, a SQL server where all the email data is stored and a separate Mailstore where compressed and encrypted emails together with their attachments are stored.  Mail-safe does not use 'stubbing' and has an Outlook Add-in for easy use from within Outlook.

Mail-safe will solve most of the major email management issues for Systems Administrators:-

  • being able to find any emails quickly and easily and being able to restore them back to the user's Inbox 
  • complying with all legal requirements and 'best business practice' 
  • automatically reducing Exchange Mailbox sizes without using quotas
  • 'sweeping up' emails from PST's into a central archive and eliminating the need for future PST's
  • Mail-safe will save many hours per week for users by:-
    • auto-indexing emails to Client Id/Account Numbers, Name, Category etc based on email addresses
    • Group viewing of emails based on Active Directory or Groups set up in Mail-safe
    • Fast search and retrieval together with preview pane in the Results List shows chronological email dialogue for both sent and received emails
    • Can be integrated with the organisation's existing software applications e.g. CRM, Practice Management, Accounting Systems etc

    Hardware and Software Requirements

    • Compatible with Exchange 2000/2003/2007 and Outlook 2003/2007 for the search toolbar with both server and client running .NETv2
    • SQL Server 2000 and above or SQL Server Express (MSDE) for small sites
    • Some spare storage capacity to archive the emails to
